I expected a little bit more from this one! A lesbian couple head out to an LGBT owned airbnb in the woods to have a romantic weekend together – but the cabin has been intercepted by a group of militant homophobic extremists. The standard slasher cat & mouse game ensues – and although there are some good gory scenes, it falls a bit flat and doesn’t really do much to make it memorable. The characters are pretty average, thought Renee (Tommie-Amber Pirie) would be a little bit more hardcore based on a throwaway line about hunting with her father, and although she was decent – wasn’t amazing. The end was also pretty lacklustre – bang average movie overall!

This is very firmly in the camp of what you see is what you get based on the description of the movie. For it’s intended purposes of an easy, straightforward watch, it does the job. If you ask me questions in a weeks time about this movie, chances are I’ll barely be able to. It’s pretty forgettable with not much to set it apart from other slasher movies, or other horror movies in general.
