This was more of a drama rather than a horror – and not even a great one at that! We decided to go for this one because it had good reviews on Shudder & IMDB, but was so disappointed. There was nothing scary about it whatsoever, started really slow & figured it would start ramping up, but it remained the same level of ‘something’s gonna happen’ the entire movie, then nothing ever did. Occasionally there would be visions of spirits, and thought they would amp up the ‘haunted’ feel, but nope. They obviously tried to not copy ‘The Eye’ but in doing so, it just fell very flat.

I went into this one with high expectations, but I wouldn’t classify this as a horror at all. This was more of a slow burn drama, with no scary / spooky / shocking parts at all. Everytime a ghost would appear or there was a bit of a gory scene – you’d start getting ready for it to kick off, but then it never did. The ending was very abrupt and overall the whole thing just left me wanting more and disappointed from what the blurb promised!
