I liked this one, almost felt like two movies because it changes quite alot in the second half. Initially the focus is on a couple at a beach house, another couple show up to stay for the weekend, and there’s a lot of underlying creepiness and uncertainty about their motives. After their first night together, they all start to get symptoms from a mysterious illness affecting everyone at the beach – with a VERY grim worm scene that made me wanna vomit. Felt like they actually reacted to everything in quite a realistic way – rather than an annoying/forced horror movie character way lol. Wasn’t amazing but a very decent watch!

This wasn’t bad – the first 45mins was more tension filled as opposed to anything of substance happening. When the couple had unexpected guests arrive at the beach house, they seemed a bit strange – but you wasn’t sure if that was their personality or if there was something more sinister about them. Once the virus hit, the movie started to really grip you with a few good gory/hands over the eyes moments that worked pretty well.
