This was absolute trash, so bad that it was laughably ridiculous! A divorcing couple head to Colombia for a work conference, decide to go on a hike together and wind up stuck in quicksand. Premise is decent, love a survival movie – but the acting is SO SO BAD. One minute they can barely move, the next they’re leaping about pulling out guns & bags from the quicksand below them like it’s a magicians hat. Not to mention the fact that the items work perfectly & are 90% clean bar a few specs of dirt on them, even though they’d been buried in quicksand – terrible horror movie, but great if you need a laugh!

This one actually started out relatively strong – but the acting from the main couple wasn’t good enough to carry it through. Neither character was likeable – both very annoying, singularly and whenever they interacted with eachother. There were a lot of inconsistencies on how restricted they were in the quicksand as well – one minute they are waving their arms trying to get the attention of a helicopter, the next they supposedly can’t move their arms at all. More holes than a sieve – would advise passing on this one!
