This is a great storyline executed brilliantly. It starts out as a standard ‘home-invasion’ style horror film, two slightly dodgy seeming men turning up at an isolated farm house after a car crash and infiltrating a nice family dinner. But as the film goes on, things aren’t necessarily as they seem – very hard not to completely gush about how great it is without spoilers! It has a lot of really good fast-paced action scenes, keeping the tension high throughout. You’re constantly second guessing yourself and trying to figure out where the plot will take you – not always easy to predict and keeps your interest from beginning to end.

This one is actually more of a thriller than a horror (although some moments are horrific!) but this one definitely hits the mark. There are enough twists to keep you on your toes and guessing throughout the whole storyline. The characters are the perfect blend of nuturing / creepy so you’re never quite sure whether she’s trustworthy or not. You’re constantly trying to find out along the way if there’s a darker secret each of them are keeping – great storyline, great characters. One of the best this month so far!
