“Repetitive & Dull”

REALLY struggled to get into this one! The characters were all extremely un-likeable and boring and annoyingly there wasn’t really anything that was too redeemable throughout! Most of the book was a lot of the same – frequent back & forths between trying to work out if the husband is cheating, while cheating themselves. There wasn’t anything juicy or intriguing – the premise sounded really exciting and full of suspense, but it was actually a very boring drama with a strange thriller bit at the end, that gets very messy and odd. The whole blurb pushes a strong ‘who done it’ killer type story, but 90% of the book is nothing to do with that! So disappointing the premise nor the cover matched the actual vibe of the storyline at all, definitely an example of don’t judge a book by it’s cover! Hard avoid.
