Absolutely loved this one – not a traditional horror in the slightest, but brilliantly creepy and constantly keeps you on the edge. A Danish couple get friendly with a Dutch couple on holiday, and a few months down the line are invited to the Dutch couples home in the countryside. There are a LOT of awkward moments and socially questionable situations, the main horror is the characters trying their hardest to stay polite. The tension consistently bubbles throughout, creating a sense of sheer dread at the end – even though you’ll be shouting at the screen praying that they do more and stop being so bloody passive!

Really, really enjoyed this one! The dynamic between both couples really worked well. There was a tension throughout that creeps you, with so many creepy moments that are odd enough to make you pay attention but not so odd that it’s an obvious flag. On a lot of the ‘touchy’ debatable subjects that the couples talked about or went through it was quite conflicting on who was in the right and who wasn’t, what crosses a line and what doesn’t etc. I would highly recommend this one!
